The 50th Anniversary of Ningxia Hui Tribe Autonomous Region Gold & Silver Commemorative Coins were issued on September 12, 2008 by the People's Bank of China and minted by ShengZhen Guobao Mint. The gold coin is 1/4oz in weight, 22mm in diameter, 100 Yuan in face value, 99.9% in fineness and 10000 in mintage. The silver coin is 1oz in weight, 40mm in diameter, 10 Yuan in face value, 99.9% in fineness and 20000 in mintage.
